Looking sleepy in this sepia self-portrait, but I can assure you I was not.

Here is a self-portrait from 2008 where I am looking over my shoulder. I love how the aqua shirt looks with dark hair, and I want to buy another shirt like this some day.

I love posting my pictures over on Deviant Art because it is a site devoted to sharing art work. You can also look at some of the amazing art work people post over on that website. Here is another self-portrait of me that I uploaded to Deviant Art.

Taking self-portraits is a fun way to take pictures of yourself, especially if you do not have anyone else to take a picture at the moment. Here is a self-portrait of myself next to a tree, which I created by setting the timer on my camera to take the picture.

I wrote a fun little post about self-portrait photography over on my new blog My Views Online. This is the blog where I write about all of my observations that are not necessarily art or crafts related, so check out the blog if you would like to read more about it.
Taking pictures of yourself is daring and fun. So are you really going to wait around to for someone to take your picture? Please, it is so easy to take your picture, and I take most of my own pictures. As a single woman who would take my picture if I did not know how to execute self-shots? I can be happy, cute, and sexy for me and the camera. I do not need someone to take my picture, so today I am celebrating self-portraits as art.
The other day I decided to update my Facebook page by adding this picture of me posing with my Buster painting. It is fun and zany, and gives me an opportunity to share my new painting. I the past I used to update Facebook and Myspace pictures more frequently, but as of late I have not been inspired to take pictures of myself. A good project in the future will for me to work on taking more self portraits because I used to enjoy these.
