K Is For Kindergarten Crafts

I am not sure if this a craft that kids do in kindergarten classes everywhere, but when I was in kindergarten we all made hand prints to give as gifts to our moms on Mother’s Day. A clay print is a simple and fun craft most young children would enjoy making, and it is a tangible way to measure the growth. Even though my hands are much bigger now, my thumb print still almost fits into the clay mold.

  1. Hello, Julie…just happened by your post and enjoyed the pic of the handprint. I am a lover of crafts and self-expression (a lifetime of them). I wonder how many millions of these handprints have been made throughout the years. If you are a writer of stories, it would make a wonderful clue in identifying a lost child, wouldn’t it? Best regards to you… and keep crafting. Ruby
